It's a great pass. I drove it from the Bormio side, as a non experienced driver in the mountains, but it was very doable. Check if its open before you go there: after a rainy evening it closed for some days due to a landslide or so. When going to the Stelvio pass, the Gavia pass, which is close, is worth a visit too.
